ABOUT THE WINERY
In an area stretching from the Conegliano and Valdobiadene hills to the Piave river, La Jara cultivates 50 hectares of vineyards and farms them according to the principles of organic farming. Here the white limestone absorbs heat during the day, then slowly releases it at night. These stones, called 'Jara' in the local dialect, give La Jara Prosecco its fresh varietal aroma, minerality and elegance. The grapes are pressed very lightly and the wines are produced using the Charmant method.
