Founded in 1946 by Jean Orëns Ferraton, the Ferraton Père & Fils estate is one of the finest benchmarks in the Rhône Valley. It is located in the heart of the Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph districts. An elegant and memorable wine with a deep ruby colour.
The texture is complex and rich, with aromas of sweet ripe berries and juicy plum. The palate is round, fresh and perfectly balanced. Hints of oak bark and truffle are delicate and give the wine an ample finish.

PAIRINGS

Decant the wine for half an hour before serving. Pairs well with roast chicken, duck tenderloin and steak. Suitable for risotto with porcini mushrooms, tagliatelle with truffle sauce and porcini mushrooms. It prefers Pecorino cheese with truffle, Veuve Pane and Munster.
