ABOUT THE WINERY
The vineyard of the Chateau Grand Soreillon is located on the Pomerol plateau and covers 5.5 hectares in one block. It is situated in soil composed of a mixture of clay and gravel. These clays swell and release water for the vines during dry periods.
The forty-year-old vineyard is planted mainly to Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Merlot grows particularly well on clay soils, giving Rich, Velvet wine с flavours of blackFruits, truffles and chocolate.
Cabernet Fran added taninova structure and Spicy notes, а Cabernet Sauvignon contributes to Duration and the complexity of guilt.
