Founded in 1946 by Jean Orëns Ferraton, the Ferraton Père & Fils estate is one of the finest benchmarks in the Rhône Valley. It is located in the heart of the Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph districts. Produced with the utmost respect for the vineyards and the people, each wine from the estate recreates the typicity of its birthplace and grape varieties. Colour: deep and very deep garnet. Purple shades.
Nose: aromas of fresh black fruits: blackberry and blackcurrant, liquorice, garrigue and violet.
Palate: beautiful and captivating density.
A powerful wine with a very aromatic finish of spice.

PAIRINGS

Ideally combined with sliced fillets and sausages. Beef tagliata, Filet Ardenne, Salami Milano, Lomo Serrano.
Combined with high spinach cheeses it manages to bring out the red berry flavours even better. Appenzell, Abondance, Tom de Jura and Morbier are preferable.
